Gastroenterology:

Objective: To treat diseases of the digestive system.

Examples: Management of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), liver diseases, and gastrointestinal reflux disease (GERD).

Endocrinology:

Objective: To manage disorders of the endocrine glands and hormones.

Examples: Treatment of diabetes, thyroid disorders, and adrenal gland diseases.

Nephrology:

Objective: To treat diseases of the kidneys.

Examples: Management of chronic kidney disease, kidney stones, and dialysis.

Infectious Disease:

Objective: To diagnose and treat infections caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites.

Examples: Medication management for hypertension, cholesterol management, and lifestyle counseling for diabetes.
