It can be categorized into two main areas:

Abdominal Surgery: Focuses on surgical procedures involving the stomach, intestines, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and other abdominal organs. Examples include appendectomy, hernia repair, and gallbladder removal.

Emergency and Trauma Surgery: Specializes in providing life-saving interventions for injuries or urgent conditions, such as perforated ulcers, intestinal obstructions, and traumatic injuries resulting from accidents.

Abdominal Surgery

Examples: Appendectomy, hernia repair, and gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy).

Colorectal Surgery

Objective: To manage diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus.

Breast Surgery

Objective: To treat benign and malignant breast conditions.

Vascular Surgery

Objective: To address diseases of the arteries and veins.

Examples: Repairing aneurysms, carotid endarterectomy, and varicose vein treatment.

Minimally Invasive Surgery

Objective: To perform surgeries with smaller incisions for faster recovery.

Examples: Laparoscopic appendectomy, hernia repair, and colectomy.

Oncologic Surgery

Objective: To remove cancerous tumors and surrounding tissue.

Examples: Surgical excision of gastrointestinal and pancreatic cancers.

Pediatric Surgery

Objective: To address surgical conditions in children.

Examples: Treatment of congenital anomalies, pediatric hernia repair, and appendicitis in children.

Objective: To focus on the surgical treatment of tumors.
